Southern Cavalier Welfare, a Kennel Club recognised rescue organisation operates across Southern England and has helped many dogs with different backgrounds and problems since it was formed in 1993. We always grateful for homes. In addition to rescue and re-homing, all undertaken by a small number of volunteers, we very often have to deal with older dogs and those with problems which mean they are difficult to be re-homed. These older dogs naturally require a lot of TLC and unfortunately in their later lives usually incur veterinary expenses. The finance for our organisation is raised by a great deal of hard work, again undertaken by a small number of volunteers, and donations would of course be gratefully received
If you never had a welfare cavalier before or an older one, you may wish to print out some of our publications below:

Over the years we have been in operation, most dogs have arrived with us for a variety of genuine reasons. The sad and distressing cases do occur; the eventual wagging tails and trusting eyes are all we need to keep us in operation.
